Ana Bergen was born into a family of Art Historians in Trier, Germany and later raised in Muenster where her father was the director of the Museum of Modern Art. She obtained a BA in Art Restoration from the Roman/Germanic Museums in Mainz, Germany. She now lives in Woodstock/Saugerties NY.

“I am drawn to the interplay of light and shadow, the way that the changing quality of light can transform a scene from moment to moment. I also love to experiment with different perspectives and compositions, pushing the boundaries of traditional photographic techniques to create images that are both beautiful and thought-provoking.”
