Kelly Sinclair was born in Manhattan, NY and grew up in the Catskill Mountains of upstate New York. She studied black and white film photography in high school and later in college. Kelly has exhibited and shown her work in galleries, online, and in nature, photography and other print publications over the years. She is currently working on a series of celebrating women as they age.

She is a member of the Center for Photography in Kingston, NY, the Women Photographers Collective of the Hudson Valley, and the Woodstock Artists Association and Museum in Woodstock, NY. She sells her work in the shop she and her husband run, HappyLife Productions, in Woodstock.

Kelly’s images reflect the love she has for the exquisite beauty in the details of nature and the deep connection she feels to the earth. She considers photography a spiritual practice, and explores themes of life, death, aging and impermanence. Kelly believes that creativity and art can be used to heal the planet and ourselves.
